Why is my Acer laptop displaying input not supported?

I recently decided to upgrade my GeForce 6150SE to GeForce 9400GT. For this I had to reboot my system and after uninstalling the old one I installed GeForce 9400GT. Everything was doing good and it seemed to load fine but instead of it, I had a login screen that said ‘ Input is no longer supported’. After this I even tried to switch back to GeForce 6150 but still it came up with the same message. Everything was working fine up until I tried to upgrade. Has anyone ever faced such kind of a problem? Is there any way I can mend this up with any external help?

When the resolution of your monitor is very high, the display of laptop shows, “Input is no longer supported”. In such circumstances, the display of your laptop does not support the system. Change the options to a supported resolution.

If you are operating Windows XP, go to the display options. For this, click the start key and go to the control panel. Now, click appearance and themes. When the display option appears, find the setting tab and do necessary changes in screen resolution. Set an appropriate resolution, hit apply and click OK. Turn on the screen again and if it appears with desired resolution then save the changes by selecting yes. Your laptop will take about 20 seconds to assure your updated settings. Apply it as your default settings. Refresh your laptop or restart it in safe mode.

If you are operating Vista, for settings, click the start key and hit the option of control panel. Go for appearance option and click on personalization. Now, in the appearance of resolution, drag the slider and set according to your preference. Move your cursor to apply and click to set the desired resolution. Make it your default settings. Restart or refresh your laptop.
