I accidentally deleted Google Scratch Pad, how do I retrieve it back?

I accidentally deleted Google Scratch Pad, how do I retrieve it back? I tried to "clear" a selected portion of my Google Desktop Scratch Pad, and it cleared the entire contents. I can't figure out any way to restore it ("undo" didn't do anything, and there's very little documentation). I couldn't find any gadgets for google sites that could help me. I have some hope, because Google describes the Scratch Pad as "automatically" saving as you type. But has it saved over whatever file it uses with a blank slate now? Please help.

Mentioned below are the steps for restoring your Google Scratch Pad: 1. Kindly open the web browser and go to www.google.com/ig 2. Click on Add Gadgets on the left top corner 3. Please type Google Scratch Pad in the search box and click on search. 4. It will give you list of application and now you can locate the required application. 5. Just below the application you will see add gadgets. Kindly click on that and that application would be added to your homepage 6. Now go back to your homepage and now you will be able locate the gadget on your homepage. In case you have not saved any data in the Google Scratch pad and if the webpage has been accidently closed or if you have removed the data accidently there is no possible way by which it can be recovered as it is a web based application and hence it cannot be recovered.
