AppData or Application Data is a hidden folder in Windows 7. It is to protect user data and configuration of any unwanted change or elimination. It contains many important data like program settings, IE cookies, settings toolbar, IE browsing history, temporary files created by applications, libraries, send articles, templates and many more.

To access this folder you must select "Show hidden files and folders" in folder options. You can check the article to learn how you can access hidden files and folders in Windows.

Now click the Start button and then clicking on the current username in the top right.

Your folder will open user account. It consists of many folders. It also contains a folder called AppData. This is the hidden and shows now, and to show all hidden folders in the previous step.

Double-click the Data folder and you can see three folders within it namely Local and Roaming Local Low. Each folder has its own meaning.

Local: local folder contains many subfolders. Which mainly contains folders for the programs installed. There is also a Microsoft folder where you can find the history of the activities of Windows. There is a temporary folder that stores all temporary files. That is, temporary files are stored in temporary internet files in the Windows folder.

Roaming: Windows computer does a roaming profile that is stored on a network server. All available data roaming profile can be accessed through roaming folder. Type% appdata% in the menu search box to access the roaming folder. You can find many programs within the Roaming folder. Go to Microsoft -> Windows and can access various folders, such as libraries, network shortcuts, shortcuts, printer, recent articles, SendTo, Start Menu, templates, themes, etc.

These are mainly LocalLow data, ie, Java and Adobe protected mode.

Note: to open temporary Internet files, cookies data, send data, cache files and history data present within different folders, then you need to go to AppData directory at all times.Simply click the Start button, type shell: history to access Internet Explorer history navigation, type shell: cache to access the offline cache for Internet Explorer, type shell: cookies to access the cookies Internet Explorer data, and type shell: send to to add or remove shortcuts in the Send to menu.
