Since its inception in 1975, Microsoft Corporation has grown in leaps and bounds. In a comparatively short span of time the organization and its products have become a household name. If the meteoric rise of Microsoft is attributed to MS-DOS, then, Microsoft’s dominance in the line of operating systems is credited to Microsoft Windows which followed closely on the heels of its predecessor. There are umpteen reasons which make Microsoft Windows the most preferred OS among computer users across the world.
