With iCloud, the music you purchase is automatically reflected in all your iOS devices over 3G or Wi-Fi. This means you can make a purchase using your iPad and the song is synched to your iPhone device without you having to manually update the iTunes. Also when you buy a song, your purchase history is stored in the iCloud; this way you have a provision to easily download already purchased songs on to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod anytime.
